Description
If you’re anything like me, anxiety, insomnia, and depression can come to feel very normal. Life is stressful, so why wouldn’t we feel anxious? Anyway, isn’t change too hard or complicated for people like us?
No, it’s not.
Sure, anxiety is common. Our society churns out anxious people. But anxiety is not inevitable. Don’t just take my word for it—the Anxiety and Depression Association of America says it’s highly treatable.
That is true for me. Anxiety used to steer my life. It made me wary of taking any risk. It kept me up at night, stole my joy, and impacted my relationships. I still deal with anxiety, but instead of it always driving, it’s more often in the passenger seat, making nervous conversation.
That wholesale change did not happen because I worked harder, got more self-discipline, or grew a thicker skin.
It happened because I learned to see my struggle with kinder eyes. And it happened because I stopped shaming myself for experiencing it.
If you’d like to make that shift, I’ve made this ebook for you.
- Change the way you see anxiety—and change anxiety’s hold on you.
- Discover the useful lessons anxiety can teach you about discernment.
